Save money in college?! What?!

The average college student will take out more than $20,000 in loans to help finance his or her education! That's to expensive for me so I did some research and found out some great ways to save a few bucks! Don't take out loans and get into dept, you don't need to do that. Here are a few tips to get you started. 1.Do good in high school and all your schooling. 2.Try and find scholarships. 3.Take college classes in high school. 4.In high school take some college tests so you don't have to take as many classes in college. 5.Beg your parents to help you out with the finances. 6.Live at home, it maybe uncool and you might not be able to have crazy parties but it will "pay off". 7.Don't be too crazy and try and spend your money wisely. Being nice!

After my week of smiling to everybody who is nice to me, or even people who just look like they are having a bad day, I have come to the conclusion that it really does make a difference. When I am at the grocery store and somebody looks at me I smile at them and even say a friendly hello often. people really do appreciate the little things that we do to brighten someones day. As I continue to smile and say hello more than I usually do it seems as if I am a little bit happier to. Keep smiling and have fun!

One Weird Mascot

When I saw this i was so very confused. Now who would have thought that St. Louise University would have a Billiken as their mascot . I just can't wrap my finger around the fact that this weird martian is their mascot . Some people have found the creature to be a good luck symbol to others it's just a figure created by a teacher in the early 1900's . In my opinion he's funky and cute but its still just a mascot . I mean the creator obviously was bored and while making the mascot decided to have fun with it so that is exactly what he did ! He made a good choice because now we had great , cheery , fun college mascot . I find good luck to be a superstition but St. Louise doesn't , they believe in this good luck figure . It's still a debatable topic but ever since he was there he has helped them out at the games . All of those fans counting on you that must be a lot of pressure . But I'm sure he always keeps his cool though . The Billiken is still one weird mascot .

my ? 4 college!

Where do mascots get there names like the highlanders? Well as I was looking it up I thought why the highlanders have the mascot of a bear? Who knows like really? I had found a web sight called Factacular that has all of the names but why are they who they are? I mean look at that cute face wouldn't you want to Know why he is a chipmunk.
When I looked up UC Riverside Highlanders I found out that they took a vote to what they
wanted. The most popular was the cubs but then they realized that it was a little kiddish. So they
went with highlanders but they still like the cub idea. There mascot today is now a bear instead of
a cub.So all of the mascots have a purpose. Now the highlander bear make sense to me.

College Q/A

How much does college cost? An average amount for college for 1 year is 7,605. How much does UCLA cost to attend? It costs at least 23,249 per academic year. How much would living in dorms cost? Around 7,500. Does more people per dorm change the price if so does more people mean higher or less of a price? Yes the amount of people changes the price more people the price lowers so it pays to have things the way you want it. How much does UCLA cost for dorms? It cost about 11,755. All answers are average don't trust angry nerds for informational needs punch the people who I get the information from I'm just the information desk. College is an interesting thing to me since it's the climax of your school life and the start of a new plot in your life to adulthood.

Nerdy college thinking

When I went to the UCLA college last year on a field trip, I wondered how much it would cost to attend that college long enough to get a bachelors degree. I want to know this because I intend to go to  that college and get that degree. I also want to know because I would be able to start saving for college and be prepared for my future in college. Another reason for this question is that I'm just curious to know why people say "college is so expensive". In conclusion, I intend to find out how much money it would cost to attend UCLA and get a bachelors degree.

I when to http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_much_will_it_cost_you_to_attend_UCLA and fould out that it would cost at least 20,000 dollars a year to attend UCLA. If you stay in college for four years without failing any classes and not skip classes you will earn a bachelors degree. In total it would cost you at least 80,000 dollars to get a bachelors degree.

Attention All Nerds

I have changed a few of the background colors and fonts on the blog. They were too difficult to read against the background.

Remember, as you modify this blog, it is essential that you make it easy on the reader to process your writing.

Blog on, nerds.
